This External Microphone (HDV17-MIC) will improve your camcorder sound recording quality. It is designed to fit camcorders and SLR cameras and is easily installed. It has a built-in, high performance, super-cardioid pickup with dual-head technology for long pickup distances (approximately 12 feet), wide frequency responses, and high quality sound.
